What is a safety screen?
A safety screen (also referred to as a barrier screen) is stronger than a flyscreen and sometimes has the appearance of a security screen but has not been tested to meet Australian Standards 5039.
While BasiX has a similar appearance to CommandeX’s range of woven stainless mesh security screens (SecureView and SaltWaterSeries), BasiX is manufactured with a slightly thinner mesh than our security screens and is classified as a safety screen.
