- 3M®’s High Performance VHB® Adhesive Bonding – The acrylic chemistry of the VHB adhesive eliminates the need for rivets and screws, distributing the load across the full bond line rather than concentrating stress at individual fixing points
- Keyway Fixing System – This innovative system creates the precise pressure required to activate the adhesive. The system cleverly creates a clear space between the mesh and the aluminium frame, eliminating the risk of galvanic corrosion, which can occur when dissimilar metals make contact.
- No galvanic corrosion risk – because dissimilar metals never make direct contact, the system avoids the galvanic corrosion that rivet and screw fixings are prone to in coastal and high-moisture environments
- Exceeds AS5039-2023 – The fixing system surpasses the Australian Standard Impact Test requirements, independently tested and verified
